Rashtriya Ashok Manch Trust, earlier registered under the Societies Registration THE INDIAN TRUST ACT, 1882. Rashtriya Ashok Manch is working in the field of Sexual & Reproductive health (SRH) and provides a range of quality, affordable reproductive health services and products in 12 states of India. Rashtriya Ashok Manch mission is to enhance the quality of life of men, women, adolescents and children by addressing the challenges in Health, Population and Development” The emphasis is on children by choice, not chance. Our goal is prevention of unwanted pregnancies. At the heart of our mission is Informed Choice and Quality of Care. Communication and awareness building is an integral part of all activities. It ensures that the best medical services are offered in a caring, safe and hygienic environment by qualified and trained staff. Counselling and follow-up care is also given immense importance.
Rashtriya Ashok Manch Trust has the distinction of being a pioneering organization engaged in providing RH services in India. Over the years we have expanded our role to include overall population and development issues. It is successfully running a variety of reproductive health projects like Socially Marketed Reproductive Health Clinics, Social Marketing of Reproductive Health Products and Awareness, Education & Training on Sexual & Reproductive health. Research & advocacy, along with development of enhanced management capacity to efficiently and effectively manage health population and development programmes are the other objectives of Rashtriya Ashok Manch.
Reproductive Health Care is promoted through various interventions pertaining to research, advocacy, & awareness generation, education & education and training, technical assistance, service delivery and product distribution. Parivar Seva in its service programmes works with low-income groups, mainly living in urban slums, peri-urban and rural areas, who are unable to afford commercial services and products, but are also reluctant to avail free of cost services from the public sector.
